Hi! I’m Kristin— a website and graphic designer with a lifelong love for art. My creative journey began with finger painting at a table my grandfather specially built for me. I still have my very first writing assignment about my future aspirations, kept in my parents' hope chest. In the assignment, I wrote, "I want to be an artist.”
When I first started using computers, a whole new world opened up for me. I discovered a means to best express myself through computer art and writing. During my senior year in high school, I found my passion while taking a computer art elective.
While earning my B.A. in Graphic / Information Design at Central Connecticut State University, I developed my design style: Less is more. I believe in the power of simplicity to effectively communicate a message - your message. By focusing on your goals and vision, I create thoughtful designs with your best interests at heart.
I have designed social media and print materials for CT Beer Tours, New Britain Museum of American Art, and various small businesses looking to promote their products and services.
One particularly memorable project was creating a logo for Audrey Mae Soaps. I found great satisfaction in realizing my client's vision, and the most rewarding aspect was witnessing her joy upon seeing the final design. She even went the extra mile by giving me shout-outs in her Facebook posts, featuring photos with the logo, which was truly heartwarming.
When I'm not designing, you'll find me dancing, indulging in delicious food (I'm a big food lover!), or cuddling with my cat, Oliver. I love Wicked The Musical! It's truly amazing and has captivated me completely!
Looking for more than just design? I’ve got a knack for copywriting, too — let’s chat about how I can help bring your project to life!
